At the tender age of 2, Miri was diagnosed with a life-threatening brain tumor. The doctor told her parents that she urgently needed surgery combined with chemotherapy and radiation. Devastated by this news, and faced with limited insurance coverage, they found themselves searching for help and hope and turned to Bikur Cholim.

We immediately arranged a second opinion with a world-renowned specialist, direct donor blood, meals, volunteers, transportation, Shabbos hotel accommodations, and help with the cost of her surgery and care. Following her treatment, Miri required continued physical and occupational therapy which we helped subsidize through the Bikur Cholim SPOT Program.

Now, as her 3rd birthday approaches Miri can be found playing and running through the park with her friends just like any other child. So many like Miri and her family depend on Bikur Cholim to get the best care possible, and we depend on you.
