Blood & Platelets

Every hour of every day people battling illness depend on blood transfusions to survive. From infants to adults suffering from diseases such as leukemia or sickle cell anemia, or those undergoing chemotherapy or surgery, having blood products available when needed is a matter of life and death.

Bikur Cholim operates the largest Jewish blood donor registry on the West Coast and organizes major blood drives throughout Greater Los Angeles. We partner directly with hospitals to ensure blood is available for you, your family, and each local community.
